Mountain Bike Fun

By Brian Latturner

Last night I did a nice ride on the Corner Canyon Mountain Biking Trail. Corner Canyon is located in east Draper, Utah. The area is very popular for mountain biking and trail running. It's especially a good place in the spring and fall when colder weather and snow keeps you out of the high country.

On my ride, I traveled about 11 miles in a total of 1-1/2 hours. The climb for me was from an elevation of 4,688 to 6,023, and then back down. Of course the "back down" is funner than riding up, but as those of you who ride know, riding down is physically demanding too, so the ride is a great workout after work when you have little time to travel far.

So there you have it, if you're looking for a fun trail to get a little exercise on or just have some fun, this is one that should do the trick.

PS - If you want a good chuckle, watch me wipeout at the end of the video clip. Always remember to keep your eyes on the trail!
